MoFPI is inviting applications (EOI) for Millet PLI scheme

Subject: Submission of proposals/EoI for availing incentives for Millet based products under Production Linked Incentives Scheme for Millet Based Products(PLISMBP)-reg.
Recently, the United Nation General Assembly based on India's proposal has declared Year 2023 as "International Year of Millets". In the budget speech Hon'ble Finance Minister has also announced year 2023 as "Millet Year". In this backdrop, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India has proposed to encourage the use of Millets in RTC/RTE products and incentivising them under the PLI Scheme to increase usage of millets in food products and promote its value addition and their sale in domestic and export markets. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). The Scheme Guidelines were issued vide OM dated 23.06.2022.
2. Ministry of Food Processing Industries invites applications for availing sales based incentives for millet based products having more than 15% millet content by weight/Volume under the cheme from following two categories of Applicants:
Large Entity: Applicants having minimum sale of all food products of Rs. 250 crore in FY2020-21.
MSMEs : Applicants having minimum sale of all food products of Rs. 2 crore in FY2020-21 and having Udyam registration certification.
3. The interested entities should submit their proposals online as per the Scheme Guidelines dated 23.06.2022 for "Production Linked Incentives Scheme for Millet Based Products". The detailed guidelines of the scheme may be seen at "mofpi.nic.in". The proposals/ Eols, will only be received through online portal: https://plimofpilfciltd.com Last date for submission of application is 29.07.2022 upto 5:00 PM.
4. The Applicant shall make payment of non-refundable Application fee for online Such fee is Rs 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh) for Large Entity and Rs 10,000 (Rupees ten thousands) for MSME Applicants. The fee may be paid electronically through NEFT / RTGS to Account Number: 3000061891, IFSC Code: CBINO282169, Central Bank of India, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi The scanned copy or details of online payment shall be submitted with online proposal, failing which the proposal will not be considered.
