Andhra Pradesh Electronics Manufacturing Policy 2024-29

Unlocking Growth in Electronics Manufacturing

The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) has launched the Andhra Pradesh Electronics Policy 2024-29 with the ambitious goal of transforming the state into a premier electronics manufacturing hub. This policy is designed to attract investments and encourage both new and existing units to establish or expand their presence within the state. By offering a comprehensive package of financial incentives, the policy aims to create a robust ecosystem for electronics manufacturing, fostering job creation and economic growth.

Incentives and Subsidies

The policy provides a range of financial incentives tailored to the size and investment of the electronics projects. The overall incentives a company can claim shall not exceed 75% of the eligible Fixed Capital Investment (EFCI).

Ineligibility Criteria

How to Apply for the Scheme

The policy outlines a "Single Window Mechanism 2.0" to facilitate the application process. Investors can obtain clearances and renewals from various departments through a single desk portal. The government is committed to providing a conducive business environment with a "speed of doing business" approach.

Application and Approval Process

The state government has implemented a streamlined process for project approvals and incentive disbursements through its Single Desk Portal. This process is designed to reduce delays and simplify the investor's experience. The operational guidelines will provide more detailed procedures for availing incentives.

Important Points to Avoid Subsidy Cancellation

While the policy document does not explicitly state reasons for cancellation, it is critical for applicants to comply with the following:

  1. Operational Guidelines: Adherence to the yet-to-be-notified operational guidelines is mandatory for receiving incentives.
  2. Investment and Employment Ratios: The policy offers additional incentives for projects that demonstrate a higher employment-to-investment ratio. Failure to meet these criteria could impact the final incentives received.
  3. Budget Availability: The release of incentives is subject to the availability of the government budget
