DGFT Amends Para 1.25 of Foreign Trade Policy 2023 for One Star Export House Status

Subject: Amendment in Para 1.25 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Para 1.25 (d) of FTP, 2023, with immediate effect:

For granting status, an export performance would be necessary in all the three preceding financial years (and in all the two preceding financial years for Gems & Jewelry Sector). |
For granting status, an export performance would be necessary in all the three preceding financial years (and in all the two preceding financial years for Gems & Jewelry Sector): Provided that for grant of One Star Export House status (other than for Gems & Jewelry Sector), export performance in any two out of the three preceding financial years shall be sufficient. |
Effect of this Notification:
The Para 1.25(d) of the FTP, 2023 is amended to allow granting of One Star Export House status to applicants (other than for Gems & Jewelry Sector)who possess export performance in any two out of the three preceding financial years subject to other provisions of Para 1.25 of FTP, 2023
