Eligibility Overview
To qualify for the Power Subsidy under AP MSME Policy, you must:
- Be a new or expanding MSME unit in Andhra Pradesh
- Be involved in manufacturing or eligible service sector activities
- Fall under Micro, Small, or Medium category
- Belong to general or special category as defined by the policy
Special Category Enterprises include those wholly owned by:
- Women entrepreneurs
- Entrepreneurs from BC, SC, ST communities
- Minority communities
- Specially-abled individuals or transgender persons
(Must have AP domicile)
What’s Covered?
- Per-unit subsidy based on electricity consumed
- Annual cap based on size and category of enterprise
- Benefit period: 5 years from date of commencement
