In line with its commitment to inclusive and equitable industrial development, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a special provision under its MSME and Entrepreneur Development Policy 2024–29 to support Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs.

Recognizing land as a critical barrier to entrepreneurship, the government offers a 75% rebate on land cost (up to ₹25 Lakhs) to eligible SC/ST-owned micro and small enterprises. This initiative aims to encourage first-generation entrepreneurs from historically underrepresented communities to start and scale their businesses with dignity and financial ease.

Eligibility Overview

1. Enterprise must be wholly owned by individuals from SC or ST communities
2. Entrepreneur must be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh
3. Applicable only for Micro and Small Enterprises
4. Land must be purchased for setting up a new industrial unit under the MSME category
5. The rebate is applicable only on land cost, not on registration, stamp duty, or lease charges
